Inspired by Zach Lieberman's daily sketches and Jack B. Du's daily experiments, I decided to do something similar. Since I don't always have a finished idea in mind, I framed it as daily learning. The process is:
- Pick a prompt from Genuary (it does not have to be today's prompt).
- Search related sketches on Observable, Shadertoy, and other places to find techniques to learn.
- Understand the code and idea, then create something by applying what I learned.
- Share the result on Instagram to invite more people to learn through code.
The core idea is to learn through code. Knowledge itself can feel invisible, but code is a good way to simulate and visualize it, making it visible and tangible. I started on January 1, 2026, and hope to keep this practice throughout the year.
You can explore the full experiments on Observable or watch videos on Instagram.
