Fil Explore feed of interactive programs

Fil is a mobile platform for publishing and browsing interactive programs — TikTok for creative coding. It explores agent-mediated publishing to bridge the last mile from sketch to shareable experience. It has been accepted as a UIST 2026 poster.

How It Works

Interactive programs are hard to share: screenshots and recordings lose interaction, and links leave the feed behind. Fil brings existing programs into a code agent's adaptation loop — import p5.js, Observable, OpenProcessing, or local projects. The agent proposes a post-shaped version; the creator inspects, rejects, and repairs it. The result stays executable, touchable, and alive. Viewers can interact, respond, and reuse, while authors see lightweight response traces.
